In-House Training is a great way for your dog to get a jump-start on manners.

Leash manners: Heel, Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Confidence building, and Greeting people without jumping.
Off-leash manners: Heel, Sit-Stay, Down-Stay, Come, and Distraction training with confidence building.
Westigerhaus Kennels does not use any form of harsh punishment methods, like "shock" collars.
Westigerhaus trainers only use positive-reinforcement while training Your dog.
Your dog becomes a member of our family, learning in a safe, positive, fun environment. Your dog gets care, feeding, running, playing, learning, individual attention, athletic activity, mental stimulation,and socialization in a variety of enviroments. The trainer will give you weekly reports on your dog's progress, or more often if needed.There will also be a training video of your dog posted to our website to show friends and family. Puppy Class  Puppies learn how to heel on a leash, sit, stay, and come. Teaching your puppy early obedience will mold him/her into the well-behaved dog you want. They gain socialization skills as we go  over things like scheduling and how to deal with common puppy annoyance such as teeting and  house-breaking.

 

Adult Obedience  Adult dogs will learn how to heel properly on a leash, sit, stay, down and come. And we will  address any other behavior issues as needed.

 

Off Leash   Advanced Obedience: Your dogs learns all obedience commands off-leash and hand signals. Most dog owners enter this class after they have passed Basic Obedience. A well-trained dog off-leash is a pleasure to have.

 Conformation Class  This class is for Show dog handlers or for someone who wants to learn how to become a Show Dog Handler. In this class you will learn your breed or breeds and learn how  to properly stack your dog for the Judge. You will learn how to present yourself and show your  breed. You will learn how to look for your shows and enter them. And how to prepare for a  dog show. And most important you will learn Grooming for your dog unless you plan to hire a Groomer.
